Thank you for your interest in our program!
2010-2011 fall quarter tryouts will be held on Monday, September 20th at Saddle Lake Equestrian Center.
We strongly recommend that you attend an event prior to tryouts so that you can pick up wavier forms, meet the team and horses, as well as asking as many questions as you would like. Both our team cookout and meet 'n greet occur the weekend before tryouts. More information can be found below and in the "events" tab. Car pooling is always available, contact Hanna at ucet.vpm@gmail.com for details.
2010-2011 New Member Events
Team cookout @ Saddle Lake - Saturday, September 19th from 5pm-7pm
Meet 'n Greet @ UC's main campus - Sunday, September 20th from 5pm-6pm
Tryouts @ Saddle Lake - Monday, September 20th from 10am-3pm
To tryout for the team please fill out the form to the left thoroughly and a board member will contact you shortly.
Our show team consists of western riders and hunt seat riders; in order to be a part of the show team you must tryout. Given that IHSA competition requires a full team across divisions, Coach Missy Jo will select riders will all levels of experience (first timers to advanced). Riders that are not immediately put on the show team are still expected to participate as a member of the Equestrian team. The show team is subject to change from each quarter. We need all levels of riding for our team and no experience is needed. Please do not get discouraged if you are a beginner. Everyone should tryout, everyone is welcome on the team!
